Fortunately, today's digital camera usually store your pictures separately on a flash memory card. The most commonly memory cards like SmartMedia, Memory Stick, SD card, CF card are often seen in digital camera. Owing to them, retrieve pictures from digital camera memory card becomes possible becuase it doesn't permanently erase a file, instead its space is martked as re-usable space. Therefore, unless the space is taken by other pictures or files, it will still be there and you can retrieve deleted pictures.

Because once you continue to use your camera, or reformatted your memory card, pictures probably are overwritten with new ones. Connect the digital camera to PC, generally through USB slot. Or get out of your memory card and insert it to a card reader. Then connect card reader to your PC. Once the card appears as a drive letter in “my computer”, you may download a small digital photo recovery software, such as Card Data Recovery. Simply install it on your PC under the wizard. Run it. Within four steps, you can get back your pictures:

1. Click "Start" on the home interface. Select digital camera card drive. And select select the file types in Standard Mode. Or switch to Advanced Mode, select file formats. Click “scan”. It will take you a few minutes to scan your memory card;

2.You can see all deleted images listed on the task window, check the deleted photos you want to recover. This program allows you to preview deleted pictures before recovery. Click "Recover".
