How to Put Hiren’s BootCD to USB Flash Drive
Hiren BootCD is an all-in-one PC rescue toolkit that will help in resolving comput er boot issues, recovering Windows password, scanning malware, back and restore PC data, and fixing many other computer malfunctions. In this article I will show you a very easy way to put Hiren’s BootCD to USB on Windows 10/8.1/8/7.
What You Need for Hirens Boot USB
In order to create a bootable USB drive for Hiren BootCD, you need to prepare following things.
- Hiren’s BootCD 15.2 ISO
- Rufus– Bootable USB creator that helps format and create bootable USB flash drive, pen drive, memory sticks.
- An USB flash drive with minimum storage of 1GB.
- Select your USB drive from Device drop-down options.
- Choose MBR partition scheme for BIOS or UEFI computers.
- In File system please choose FAT32 (Default).

Note: Make sure that the USB stick that you are going to put Hiren’s on is blank. The process will format and erase all data on the USB drive. So you’d better back up all important data beforehand.
Steps to Create Bootable USB from Hirens Boot CD
Step 1. Insert your prepared USB stick to computer, and open Rufus on your Windows PC.
Step 2. Select format options and select ISO image from drop-down menu.
Step 3. Choose Hiren’s Boot CD 15.2 ISO file and click Start to copying files from Hiren to USB drive.
Step 4. Format your USB flash drive
Step 5. Once Hiren’s BootCD ISO has moved to USB flash drive successfully, you can close Rufus.

Hiren’s BootCD is great, but it has not been updated for 5 years and also some of software are removed because of copyright issues.
